It would be great to find out what the interest is out there. Starting in October (if there is enough interest) the classes will be held in the evenings starting at 7.45 pm (to include those commuting from Canberra).

A free workshop for parents and current supervisors (or soon-to-be supervisors) of learner drivers will be held on Monday 13 th September 2010 starting at 6.30 pm, facilitated by Yass Valley Council Road Safety Officer, Alison Beresford.
The course, Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers, developed by the RTA offers parents and supervisors, hands-on advice on how to provide the most effective driving practice for learner drivers. Quote “The June workshop was well received by those who attended with the feedback being overwhelmingly positive.” Parents and supervisors who have attended this course found it boosted their confidence, assisted them to better plan driving sessions and found the practical exercises helped them apply and reinforce information gained during the evening.” Ms Beresford saidBookings for the Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers course can be made by calling Yass Valley Council on 6226 9248. For any questions or further information, please call Yass Valley’s Road Safety Officer, Alison on 6226 9248.www.yassvalley.nsw.gov.au/news/pages/13332.html |

I just spied a few reports on the net that some providers will be offering ADSL2 in Yass over the Telstra backbone.
I notice that Telstra are themselves now offering way cheaper plans if you have bundled services ... $80 for 200gb peak/offpeak on ADSL2. I'm using exetel myself there plans are coming shortly $75 100gb peak/ 120gb offpeak. Awesome news for those living in Yass. Cheers Wayne |

ISP mean's between the Internet and the user (you use). In fact, they allow users to validate their network and sends packets to their Internet gateway. They also accept packages from the Internet and feed them to their users. This feed back is really a response to a request. ISP's will not accept the return packages that do not feed on demand or they will send them. How this is done outside the scope of this forum. I have no idea what you are talking about or how it related to the OP wanting to choose an ISP |
